Scrooge gets a ghostly visit from his deceased friend. Yes, that IS Alec Guinness as Jacob Marley.There are many movie versions of A Christmas Carol, everybody seems to have a favorite. This one is mine. It's the one I grew up on, I think I watched it on tv during every christmas season of my childhood. If you like the clips then I strongly recommend finding the dvd somewhere before the holidays are through, because it's a good movie : )
